6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
Heavenly Father,
Your work began in us the moment we first believed. When we feel incomplete or distressed by our shortcomings, when we feel as though we aren’t making progress, when we look at our situations and circumstances and get discouraged, please remind us of Your truth, Your character and Your faithfulness. Let us look around and observe all that You have created; the land and sea, the sun and sky, the stars and planets, all the universe. You always complete and perfect Your work. Thank You, Lord, for never giving up on us; for loving us first, for rescuing and keeping us. Please give us assurance, draw us close and restore our joy of knowing Christ.
