Scripture Reading:
“The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.”
— Nahum 1:7 (KJV)
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.”
— Hebrews 13:8 (KJV)
God Never Changes
Life is filled with seasons. Some days bring joy and peace, while others bring challenges and uncertainty. Through every season, one truth remains constant: God is faithful. His character does not change, and His promises never fail.
Hebrews reminds us that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. While circumstances may change, God remains steady and dependable.
A Refuge in Difficult Times
The prophet Nahum describes the Lord as a stronghold in the day of trouble. When difficulties arise, believers can find safety and comfort in Him. God knows those who trust in Him and watches over them with care.
This assurance reminds us that we are never alone in our struggles. Even when we cannot see the outcome, we can trust the One who holds the future.
Remembering His Past Faithfulness
One of the ways believers strengthen their trust in God is by remembering how He has been faithful in the past. Throughout Scripture and throughout our own lives, we can see evidence of His provision, guidance, and mercy.
Each reminder of God’s faithfulness encourages us to trust Him with the challenges we face today.
Confidence for the Future
Because God is faithful, believers can face the future with confidence. His promises remain true, and His love never fails.
Whatever season you are walking through today, you can rest in the certainty that God is with you and will remain faithful.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your constant faithfulness. Help me remember that You never change, even when circumstances do. Strengthen my trust in You and give me peace as I rely on Your promises today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
