1 John 2:6-8 (KJV)
6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.7 Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.8 Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.
Heavenly Father,
When we are all in, Your Holy Spirit can work through us and Your Commandments will be kept. The only sermons some people will ever hear are the words we speak and what they see in our lives. If we abide by Your Word, then our faith will be solidly placed, and lives will be changed. Please help us today, Lord, to re-focus on you and show kindness to our brothers and sisters. Sometimes were treated unfairly and often we are misunderstood but please remind us who we are. More than conquerors through Christ who strengthens us so let us turn a new leaf and shine. In the name of Jesus.
