— 2 Peter 3:18 (KJV)
Strength That Comes from God
Spiritual strength does not come from human ability, but from God. Believers are called to be strong “in the Lord,” meaning their strength is found in their relationship with Him.
This strength enables believers to stand firm, resist temptation, and remain faithful in difficult times.
Growing Over Time
Spiritual strength is not developed instantly. It grows over time as believers walk with God. Through prayer, Scripture, and obedience, strength increases and the believer becomes more grounded in their faith.
Growth often comes through challenges. Difficulties can strengthen faith as believers learn to depend more fully on God.
Grace and Knowledge
Growth in grace and knowledge go together. As believers understand more of God’s Word, they also grow in their experience of His grace. This deepens their relationship with Him and strengthens their walk.
The more we know God, the more we trust Him, and the stronger we become spiritually.
Standing Strong in Faith
Spiritual strength equips believers to stand firm in their faith. It provides stability in uncertain times and confidence in God’s promises.
As believers grow stronger, they are better prepared to live faithfully and to encourage others in their walk with God.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, help me grow in spiritual strength. Teach me to depend on You and to grow in grace and knowledge. Strengthen my faith so I can stand firm and live faithfully for You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
